Strobist Kit

Beginner question of studio lighting, multiple light?
I have a flash strobist light kit with a Vivitar 285 flash. I also have a Canon 430 flash. I would like to start a multi-light set. what should be my next light, given that they do not want a stroboscope Full-size, but a flash shoe.
I do not know if the "best" option, but you're already using the Canon 430, a Canon 580EXII control 430 as a slave flash. Just a thought.
